McGill Celebrates Community, Faith, & Service

As the season of Easter continues, McGill Baptist Church has much to celebrate—from moments of spiritual growth to joyful fellowship events and milestones in the lives of our church family.

A Word from Pastor Steve Ayers

In his latest reflection, Dr. Steve Ayers shares his deep gratitude for the recent celebrations that exemplify the spirit of McGill. From Easter Sunday baptisms to child dedications and new members joining our congregation, the past few weeks have reminded him of why he cherishes being our pastor. As he prepares to honor our 2025 graduates and enjoy the upcoming Music Celebration, Pastor Steve’s heartfelt message continues to inspire us all.

“The joy of baptizing Miles on Easter Sunday is boundless… I am looking forward now to celebrating our graduates and our music program.” —Dr. Steve Ayers

Minister Lindsay Karbach: Music, Ministry, and Milestones

Minister of Music and Christian Education, Reverend Lindsay Karbach, celebrated a personal and professional milestone as she offered her first child blessing during worship. The touching ceremony honored young Meredith Pelletier, whose family has been connected to Lindsay since childhood.

Lindsay also highlighted the youth and children’s recent service project: crafting heartfelt cards for Meals on Wheels recipients. These small acts of kindness, paired with joyful fellowship, reflect the love at the core of McGill’s mission.

Don’t miss our Music Celebration Service this Sunday, May 18 at 6:00 p.m.—featuring performances from our Little Chimers, Sanctuary Choir, Sanctuary Bells, and the McPickers!

🎶 Bring a dessert and enjoy a beautiful evening of music and community.
