It’s a busy week and a busy season coming up at McGill Baptist. Here are a few of special things coming up in addition to worship, Bible study and service to the community.

Just a reminder that there is a luncheon followed by a choir rehearsal this Sunday, November 17th, after worship. Spouses and families of the choir members are invited to lunch, as well! We will be rehearsing for our upcoming Ceremony of Lessons & Carols that we will sing on December 15th. Please come and join us!

A guest speaker

This Sunday we will also welcome our guest preacher, Dr. Steve Harmon. He is the professor of Historical Theology at the Gardner-Webb School of Divinity. We are looking forward to his message!

Advent poinsettias

We are currently taking orders for poinsettias. The cost is $14 each, and your orders are due by November 21st. There are envelopes available in the lobby, or you may call Patsy at the office to place your order.

Help one of our teacher’s students

Susan Frazier is collecting empty two-liter bottles for a project she is doing with her students. There is a green tub in the lobby where you can drop off your donations. She appreciates it!

The students are making some really neat aquarium/terraiums with the aquarium on the bottom and the terraium on top. Susan is a very creative teacher and her students are lucky to have her.
